Fantasy Basketball Week 14: Who's hot, who's not, and a priority roster addition for Thursday

Wednesday's massive 13-game slate yielded a ton of impressive performance. Several fantasy stars produced some of their best stat lines of the season. Three players eclipsed 40 points, and three players recorded impressive triple-doubles. Luka Doncic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Trae Young were among the cream of the crop, but we've identified a trio of other studs alongside a bust.

Let's go over some of Wednesday's best and worst performances and take a look at an ideal roster addition for Week 14.

Who's hot

Nikola Jokic DEN - C - 15 View Profile

We've already talked about Jokic this week, but he keeps leveling up. On Wednesday, the Nuggets' star big man posted 49 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists against the Clippers. The reigning MVP has tallied three consecutive triple-doubles while averaging 30.3 points, 13.7 rebounds, and 12.3 assists. Only Giannis Antetokounmpo seems to be capable of catching this year's top Fantasy performer at this point.

Joel Embiid PHI - C - 21 View Profile

Embiid put together one of his best all-time performances against the Magic on Monday. The Sixers superstar racked up 50 points and 12 rebounds in just 27 minutes. Embiid shot almost 74 percent from the field and made 15 of his 17 free throws in the contest. Last year's MVP runner-up is doing everything he can to keep Philly afloat, and the Sixers have ridden his consistent offense to four straight wins.

Terence Davis SAC - SF - 3 View Profile

Tyrese Haliburton has missed the Kings' past two games, and Davis has filled in spectacularly for the point guard. The former Raptor totaled 35 points, six rebounds, and three assists against the Pistons on Wednesday and has averaged 21 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per contest through three outings without Haliburton in the lineup. He could finish up Week 14 on a high note against the Bucks on Saturday before Haliburton returns next week.

Who's not

Cade Cunningham DET - SG - 2 View Profile

While the Pistons are 1-1 in Week 14, Cunningham has been outright terrible for the Pistons. Detroit's highly-coveted rookie has averaged 10.5 points on 38.9 percent shooting over his previous two games. Cunningham's tallied just two rebounds and four assists during that span. That's a major disappointment for a big guard who's supposed to be a stat sheet stuffer.

Who to add

Kelly Olynyk DET - PF - 13 45% rostered View Profile

It didn't take long for Olynyk to establish himself as an impact player for the Pistons following his return from a two-month layoff. On Wednesday, the Pistons' stretch four tallied 22 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in 22 minutes against the Kings and powered the Pistons to a narrow win. He shot 8-for-17 from the field. Olynyk outpaced Isaiah Stewart and Trey Lyles in minutes and is sure to overtake both thanks to his well-rounded offense. Most Fantasy managers didn't hold onto him when he suffered a knee injury in November, so you might be able to get him for free off the waiver wire.
