NBA DFS: DeMar DeRozan and top FanDuel, DraftKings daily Fantasy basketball picks for Jan. 26, 2022

The Utah Jazz have hit some turbulence as of late as they have dropped eight of their last 10 games. Now, they enter Wednesday with a matchup against the team with the league's best record in the Phoenix Suns, and Utah will be without its two best players. Donovan Mitchell (concussion) and Rudy Gobert (calf) are both out which puts other Jazz players on the NBA DFS radar. Should someone like Jordan Clarkson, Hassan Whiteside or Rudy Gay factor into Wednesday's NBA DFS lineups?

Clarkson got his first start of the season on Monday -- which also came against Phoenix -- and he responded with 22 points, five assists, four rebounds and two steals. Could another stat-stuffing performance be in store for tonight's rematch with the Suns? And what other players filling in for injured stars around the league should factor into your NBA DFS strategy? Before finalizing your NBA DFS picks for Wednesday, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsTek's Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS professional with nearly $2 million in career winnings. He's also a predictive data engineer at SportsTek who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the bestNBA DFSvalues and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsTek. They're a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Tuesday, McClure included Pelicans center Willy Hernangomez as one of his top NBA DFS picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The result: Hernangomez dropped a career-high of 29 points to go along with 10 rebounds, returning 46 points on DraftKings and 43.5 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Wednesday, January 26, NBA DFS slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsTek.

One of McClure's top NBA DFS picks for Wednesday is Bulls forward DeMar DeRozan, who is listed at $8,200 on DraftKings and $9,000 on FanDuel. DeRozan (load management) sat out Monday's game, but in his previous game he had one of his best games in a Bulls uniform. DeRozan dropped a season-high of 41 points versus Orlando on Sunday to go along with five rebounds, three assists and two steals.

DeRozan isn't even listed on Wednesday's injury report and he gets to face the team that drafted him in the Toronto Raptors. He dropped 26 points with five boards and six assists vs. Toronto in October, and those numbers are almost identical to his season averages. With Chicago missing Lonzo Ball (knee) for Wednesday, DeRozan should take on more playmaking opportunities, but he should be able to maintain his high scoring rate while also increasing his assists.

Another key in McClure's optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Suns forward Cameron Johnson ($4,300 on DraftKings and $5,000 on FanDuel). Johnson got the start on Monday with Jae Crowder out, and he responded with 20 points, including five 3Ps, to go along with six rebounds and three steals. Crowder is out again on Wednesday as are Deandre Ayton, Cameron Payne and JaVale McGee, so Phoenix will be missing four of its top eight scorers.

That will mandate Johnson to step up again and he's proven that he can be a productive player when given more playing time. The former UNC product has made seven starts this year and is averaging 18.1 points and 5.6 boards in those games compared to 10.6 points and 4.0 rebounds when he comes off the bench. Facing a Utah team without Gobert, Johnson should have opportunities both beyond the arc and in the paint. And with the price tags he's listed at, he's an absolute steal so Johnson is a must-roster for Wednesday's NBA DFS lineups.

McClure is also targeting a player who could go off for massive numbers on Wednesday because of a dream matchup. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can only see who it is here.
