The Bobcats (7-5, 2-2), who have won four of five, are coming off a 76-66 loss at Niagara on Sunday. The Golden Griffins (4-9, 0-2), who haven't played since Dec. 22 due to COVID-19 protocols, have won two in a row. Quinnipiac is 2-3 on the road this season, while Canisius is 3-3 at home. Canisius leads the all-time series 11-6.

Tipoff from the Koessler Athletic Center in Buffalo, N.Y., is set for 2 p.m. ET. The Bobcats are one-point favorites in the latest Quinnipiac vs. Canisius odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is set at 149. • QUIN: The Bobcats are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games overall
  • CAN: The under is 5-1 in the Golden Griffins' last six games overall

The Bobcats are led by redshirt junior guard Matt Balanc, who leads the team in scoring off the bench at 16 points per game. He also ranks fourth in the MAAC in scoring, and has registered eight games of 10-plus points off the bench, including a career-high 31 points at Manhattan on Dec. 5. He scored 25 points at Maryland on Nov. 9, 20 at Saint Peter's on Dec. 3 and 23 at Dartmouth on Dec. 8. For the year, he is also averaging 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals. He is hitting on 50.5 percent of his field goals, including 43.6 percent from 3-point range, and on 83.3 percent of his free throws.

Also helping power Quinnipiac is sophomore guard Dezi Jones, one of seven Bobcats averaging eight points or more. Jones averages 10.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 steals on 43.8 percent shooting from the field and 90 percent at the foul line. He has reached double-digit scoring in seven games this season, including his last four. He is coming off a season-high 24 points in Sunday's 76-66 loss at Niagara.

The Golden Griffins come into the game averaging 8.5 made 3-pointers per game, which ranks second in the MAAC and 95th nationally. Senior forward Malek Green leads Canisius in scoring at 16.5 points per game, connecting on 50.8 percent of his shots from the floor, including 35.7 percent from 3-point range. He is also averaging a team-high 7.4 rebounds as well as 1.3 steals and 1.1 assists. Green missed the Golden Griffins' last two games due to COVID-19 protocols, but is expected back into the lineup.

Junior guard Armon Harried has also been a force on offense, reaching double-figure scoring in nine games this season. He scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the team's 97-90 overtime win over Florida Gulf Coast on Dec. 22, and has reached 20 points or more in four games, including 20 in a 65-64 win over Buffalo on Dec. 18. He scored a season-high 22 points in an 83-71 loss at East Carolina on Nov. 12 and later matched that in a 76-75 win over Coppin State on Nov. 24. In 29.9 minutes per game, Harried is averaging 12.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists.

SportsLine's model is leaning under on the point total. In fact, it says Quinnipiac's Matt Balanc will score five fewer points than his season average, while Canisius' Armon Harried will score 2 .5 fewer points than his average. It has also generated an against-the-spread pick that cashes in well over 50 percent of simulations. You can only get the model's Quinnipiac vs. Canisius pick at SportsLine.
