Streaking Nationals, Strasburg take aim at MarlinsFLMRight-hander Stephen Strasburg will seek to continue his career-long dominance of the Miami Marlins when he and the Washington Nationals chase a series sweep on Thursday night.Nationals starting pitching has overpowered the Marlins in the first two games of the three-game set, with Max Scherzer and Patrick Corbin combining to allow just two runs on eight hits in 15 innings during 6-1 and 7-5 wins, respectively.Strasburg (8-4, 3.79 ERA) has a good chance to continue the trend, as he is 18-7 against Miami with a 2.88 ERA in 32 career starts.The 18 wins are five more than the 30-year-old has against any other team.The leader in wins against a single opponent among active pitchers is Seattle's Felix Hernandez, who has beaten the Oakland Athletics 26 times.Strasburg has enjoyed much of his success at Miami, where he has gone 10-5 between Dolphin Stadium and Marlins Park. He is the only active pitcher with eight or more wins in his career as a Marlins Park visitor.Strasburg was at his best in a 5-0 win over the Marlins on April 21, allowing two hits and two walks in eight innings.
