Each of Duquesne's last two losses came by a difference of 20 points. The most recent came in the Dukes' last game against Dayton, which ended in a 72-52 defeat last Saturday. Four players on Duquesne scored in the double digits: Forward Tre Williams (12), guard Amir Spears (12), guard Leon Ayers III (12), and forward Kevin Easley Jr. (10). All four average double figures in points this season.

The Dukes may be a sub-.500 team, but it's not for lack of effort. Duquesne is one of the nation's top teams in creating shots and averages 62 attempts per game. Additionally, the Dukes work hard on the offensive glass and snag 12.1 offensive rebounds per contest. Williams and Easley lead the team in that area, and average 2.6 and 2.5, respectively.

Dayton didn't stop with the Dukes; three days after its win against Duquesne, the Flyers took down St. Bonaventure, 68-50. Guard Kyle Loftonis the Bonnies' third-leading scorer this season, but finished with just seven points on a 3-for-11 shooting night. Holmes had an even worse showing, with just five points on 1-for-12 shooting from the field. He missed all six of his three-point attempts.

The offense wasn't clicking in the last game, but the Bonnies have been one of the better rim-protecting teams in college basketball this year. St. Bonaventure averages 5.5 blocks per game, led by Osun Osunniyi. The senior forward swats away 3.1 shots per game, and is a contributor on offense as well. Osunniyi has made 58.9 percent of his shots this season, and averages 10.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists.
