Morehead State wins 96-40 over Shawnee State

MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) - Riley Minix had 18 points in Morehead State's 96-40 win against Shawnee State on Wednesday night.

Minix also had 15 rebounds, five assists, and four steals for the Eagles (1-1). Eddie Ricks III scored 18 points while going 8 of 13 (2 for 5 from 3-point range), and added eight rebounds. Kalil Thomas had 13 points and shot 5 for 6, including 3 for 4 from beyond the arc.

Elkin Ramirez led the Bears in scoring, finishing with 12 points. Tre Beard added nine points for Shawnee State. In addition, Tony Webb Jr. finished with seven points.
