Raiders at Denver...

I hesitate to go with the public again and hop all over the home favorite this evening. But it’s a short week and a road game for the Raiders and they just traded their only legit wide receiver (Jakobi Meyers) and are playing for pride at this point. They do have some scary chess pieces in TE Brock Bowers and RB Ashton Jeanty, and DE Maxx Crosby is a force of nature when he’s on the field. They’re also coming off a game they should have won while the Broncos are coming off a game they probably should have lost. But that’s the difference between good teams and bad teams. They find a way. The absence of shutdown CB Patrick Surtain II should be neutralized by the fact that the Raiders have no outside threat to test the backup. I’ll take Denver to pull away late. Final answer: Den -10 vs. LVR.*
