And just like that... Week 5 is bearing down upon us. I love this time of year. The NFL is entering the second semester, the baseball playoffs are ramping up, the NBA season is about to tip off, even the WNBA playoffs are suddenly exciting. But before we get into Sunday, can we just take moment and ponder the greatness of this year’s Miami Hurricanes? We’ve got a tough matchup Saturday night in Tallahassee. FSU is coming off that heartbreaking 2OT loss they suffered last Friday in VA. No prediction here. My heart is too invested to make an accurate prediction. So I’ll just take the over (58.5) and get your popcorn ready. But I will say Go Canes. I’m also excited about seeing what Diego Pavia and the Vandy Commodores can do in Alabama. They’re a 10-point road underdog, but after whupping Bama last year I doubt they feel like underdogs. It would be cool if Pavia won the Heisman. I’m pulling for him. I love underdog stories. I’ve been one all my life. Okay, on to Sunday. We are finally on the right side of .500 this week and only trailing AI by 3 games. It’s time to put his ass in the rearview. Cell Door Locks on deck.
