D-backs looking to sweep Rockies heading into breakFLMArizona rookie left-hander Alex Young will make his home debut Sunday when the Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies wrap up a three-game series in Phoenix.Young (1-0, 1.23 ERA) picked up the win in his major league debut in San Francisco against the Giants on June 27, when he allowed one run on three hits in five innings as a starter."He was composed early in the game from the first batter," manager Torey Lovullo said after that game. "Those are the things that stand out." Young made a relief appearance in Los Angeles against the Dodgers on July 2, throwing 2 1/3 scoreless innings. The 25-year-old was in position for a victory before the Diamondbacks' bullpen gave up two runs in the ninth for a 5-4 loss.He is taking the rotation spot of Taylor Clarke, who was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday (back inflammation). Arizona is also missing starters Luke Weaver and rookie Jon Duplantier due to injury.Arizona has won the first two games of the series, which has brought both teams to .500 as they battle for a wild-card spot while the Los Angeles Dodgers run away with the National League West.The Rockies have lost five in a row -- and 10 of 14 -- and will be looking for their four All-Stars at the top of their batting order to deliver some fireworks in the final game before the All-Star break.
